Description:  This course is intended for IT professionals responsible for security in a BusinessObjects implementation.

Abstract:  Information is an organization's most valuable asset. And managing that information throughout the entire enterprise is essential for success. In the BusinessObjects 6.5 Supervisor course, you will learn how to effectively use BusinessObjects Supervisor, a BI administration tool, to manage users and resources from a central point or within a distributed environment.

Objectives:  A hands-on, real world approach ensures that you will quickly learn how to determine the appropriate repository architecture to optimize performance and security. You will be able to:

• Allocate and manage universe and document domains to minimize maintenance tasks and storage space requirements
• Determine appropriate strategies for organizing users and groups
• Granting user and group access to a customized set of commands to balance performance and ease of administration.
